Christmas is here and it’s a wrap from HVR for 2019!
That’s a wrap!
Hayley Vine Reflexology has officially closed its doors on 2019! What a year it has been for me personally and professionally.
I know it has been a while since I have written a newsletter for you and although I am sorry for not keeping you in the loop more, there have been a few big reasons for the lack of communication.
I will get to those in a moment….
As we approach the end of the year we are all feeling the need to rest and recharge our batteries yet for many of us, Christmas and the holiday season brings with it new stresses, an increased workload and higher anxiety levels.
At a time when our bodies need plenty of rest and self-care, we can often find ourselves the busiest we have been all year. We approach 2020, not in a calm, relaxed and rested state but rather by skidding in to it at the last moment with no time to even switch off our engines before we have to go again for another 12 months!
Now is the time to rest, spend time with loved ones, recharge those batteries and allow our bodies to reset and recover. A glass of wine, some laughs and being surrounded by loved ones is a great way to spend our Christmas and our body, mind and spirit will thank us for it in January.
Personally, I don’t think I could have had a busier end to 2019 and as much as I love giving treatments and connecting with all you amazing people, my body and mind definitely need the rest.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
My busy year end started back in early November when my partner and I moved into our first house together.
That alone is quite stressful in itself (the house move, not my partner) but when you add in the change of location (I have moved from a bustling town to a very quiet and sleepy village location), the added driving due to and from Marlow and the fact this is the first time my partner and myself have lived together it has been a hectic few weeks.
Initially due to move on November 1st, our move was put back until the 15th of November which doesn’t sound a big deal but my daughter was due to arrive for the holidays on December 11th all the way from Australia and that meant we had only 3 weeks to fix the house up ready for her arrival whilst also getting into our own rhythm around the house and adapting to our new village.
As I type this, my daughter has arrived and we sit here awaiting the arrival of my mum and my sister who are also joining us for Christmas and are flying over all the way from New Zealand.
It’s going to be a busy end to the year but one I have been looking forward to for a long time and cannot wait to nourish my body and mind with the love of my closest and look forward to time spent relaxing, enjoying good food, private yoga sessions in my new home – and giving all my family reflexology treatments of course! J
So what about 2020…….
Am I the only one who can’t believe it will soon be 2020?! Growing up that seemed like stuff of science fiction, yet here we are.
What condition is your body, spirit and emotions going to be in this January? Will you be in need of some self-care to tackle 2020?
Well, my own self-care Wednesdays are coming back by popular demand in the early part of 2020!!
Last year I ran a few Wednesdays at Springwell Clinic in Marlow which proved very popular but due to other commitments I had to stop these popular sessions towards the end of year but I will be bringing these back soon J
That will mean more spaces to get your treatments booked in next year. And more opportunities for you to try my therapeutic facial reflexology sessions which have been hugely popular throughout 2019. Maybe you can try a session mixed with foot and facial reflexology for that ultimate indulgent experience?
Whatever you choose, I cannot wait to see you all back in my new treatment room at Springwell Clinic in 2020 and to help you connect back with your soul, spirit and emotions as well as giving you the most relaxing experience possible.
Until then, I want you to find some time to relax over the holidays, tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, cuddle more than you need to, enjoy tasty food, laugh, play games and allow your body and mind to have the most relaxing, rejuvenating and Happy Christmas and New Year.
Merry Christmas
