HVR Newsletter – 1st Edition
Hey!
I’m Hayley and have just celebrated my first year in business as a reflexologist. I am incredibly proud of myself to have made it through my first year and met so many beautiful people who call Buckinghamshire their home. I have enjoyed becoming part of the community and growing my tribe here.
I have been operating as a mobile reflexologist throughout South Bucks and North Berkshire counties which has been easier than I imagined it would be and thoroughly enjoyable!
You will also find me at the welcoming Springwell Clinic in Marlow on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. These have both proved to be popular and now with a settled client base and location for my treatments it makes sense to start a newsletter for my valued followers.
So, I have been interested in reflexology since I was about 23 years old.
But if you ask me why and how this all came about, I really cannot remember the defining moment that a reflexologist became the one thing in the world I wanted to become! I have always been deeply spiritual since the age of 16 years and I remember making candles, always had a supply of essential oils on the shelf in my bedroom and I loved any type of natural products.
So to journey down the holistic pathway was inevitable. It was 2010 I started that journey and found myself in Nelson, NZ at the Aromaflex Academy trying out their Reflexology Introduction weekend. Had an absolute fabulous time and I was fortunate enough to be matched up with another student reflexologist who has since become quite the celebrity of the reflexology world! My heart just loved this so much and I knew reflexology would be my life and career one day soon. I set about training and decided on the Anatomy & Physiology first, one step at a time. Why?
Because I was a single mum, my daughter was in her teens, ever so slightly difficult and I was working full time in the education environment.
However, my journey was not to be and I was amongst the 400,000 people woken up one early morning to the sound of crashing and breaking. The Christchurch earthquakes put my dreams on hold.
I had a broken home, my daughter lost her school, I lost my work place and we entered a long road ahead to recovery in a broken city.
A few small courses in Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Body Massage and Facial Reflexology to keep me equipped enough to keep practising and learning, it took another 7 years and one massive move across the world before I was able to commit to this journey again.
So here I am now, fully qualified and operational for a year. I’ve built a lovely client base full of loyalty, friendship and wellness.
I love what I am doing, I love where I have decided to base myself and I love the life that comes with being a reflexologist both within the community and online.
I am full of stories if you badger me enough! I love to hear your stories and to read your feet. I am intuitively minded, so I will feel your emotions and I will hear what you need to bring you to wellness. As the saying goes.

If you want to get to know me more in person and find out how I can bring my magic to you and your feet, why not come and check me out at the Leo Yoga Open day!!
It’s an absolute pleasure to be a part of this terrific Open Day on 15 June at Leo Yoga, Marlow. I have been coming to yoga here for near on a year now and love the feeling of love & community here in the yoga room. The most gorgeous yoga teachers and a beautiful tribe at Leo.
To be invited to offer my reflexology taster treatments here for the Open Day on 15 June is very humbling. My treatments are going to be by donation and this year will be given to the Kyrece Legacy a loving and committed charity that supports water education and safety equipment to the community of Marlow.
